   Information regarding accommodation

A limited number of rooms are available in the Taramani Guest House (TGH) inside the IIT Madras campus. Similarly, for students (only those registered as full-time students), some rooms will be available in the hostels situated inside the campus. Arrangements have been made for those who have applied for these rooms (as of November 22nd.). If you need a room in a hostel, please write to sandipan@iitm.ac.in at the earliest, so that we can try to get you one!

    Information regarding Taramani Guest House

• The rate list is for TGH is here. Only single rooms under "Category C - Normal tariff" will be available on a first-come-first-served basis. Request for a room at TGH must be made after completing the registration. Any requests made before registration will not be taken into consideration. To make a request, complete the following form as soon as possible (to increase your chances to get a room inside the campus):

    Information regarding hotels near IIT Madras

There are many hotels in the vicinity, which can accommodate those who wish to stay outside but not too far. IIT Madras has established fixed-rate contracts with several hotels nearby. The list is provided below.
